Reasons why we started Best GPS Tech
We are not athletes, we are just ordinary people with a combined passion for fitness and technology. This website was born out of an idea, created to inform and educate other sport fanatics about the latest in GPS technology. Through BestGPSTech.com we have set out to review all things Garmin – it’s a company we know and collectively use their products on a day to day basis. That said we are not bias and will tell it straight if we believe something does not live up to its hype.
We have no brand loyalty, as we are not sponsored or endorsed, and are not averse to trying out other brands and rating them against the competition.
How it works
We go out and use the products and put them through their paces as part of our daily routines. Between us we run, cycle, golf, swim and spend time in the gym, living both indoor and outdoor lifestyles. At the end of our testing period we present you with an honest review in order to make an informed buying decision. We are completely independent, and our reviews are heartfelt and honest.

As a running enthusiast, I found it frustrating that there were limited review sites available willing to give me an honest opinion on the latest technology to aid my hobby. I am certainly not trendy (my kids will testify to that), however I am an early adopter and just love getting my hands on the most up-to-date gadgets. I didn’t want to waste my hard-earned cash on products that promised me everything yet offered me nothing in return.
Together with my magnificent team of writers, we have set up BestGPSTech.com in order to do the hard work for you (and I don’t mean the exercise!). We will sweat over the research to ensure that we bring you the good, the bad and the ugly as we review the latest GPS technology available on the market today. Whilst my marathon days may be behind me now, you’ll find me with my pedal to the metal as I take to the road, attempting to be the next Tyler Farrar as I indulge my new-found love of cycling.
